Obsidianâs legendary/notorious Star Wars RPG is currently on a daily deal sale 75% at £1.74/$2.49 off until Friday 6pm GMT/Saturday 10am PST, likely the cheapest itâll ever be on Steam. For that reason, today Iâll be providing a guide to getting the Steam edition of Knights of the Old Republic II â The Sith Lords working well on modern machines.
This file fixes a plethora of common dialog and scripting related bugs.
I've been playing Kotor since when it first came out waaay back when, and have even written an extensive walk-through for it. The bug-fixes I've made had been sitting on that website for a long time, but to increase exposure, I thought I'd share the bug fixes I've made here on the nexus. To install simply extract all the files to your override directory. For those that have problems with getting the game to run at all, this file will NOT help. However the following webpage may help with some of those issues: http://shrines.rpgclassics.com/pc/kotorpc/900.shtml List of Bugs and Issues fixed:

Widescreen resolutions, extra content, crash-dodging â this will make the infamously unfinished but ambitious and wonderfully-written RPG look and play far better than it did upon release.
Not only is the game currently selling for almost nothing, many consider the Obsidian-created game to be superior to its predecessor, especially with the restored content mod. For your other PC gaming fixing needs, visit PCGamingWiki.
KOTOR2âs rerelease on Steam in August this year pulled the game out of a physical format purgatory (4 CDs no less), kicking and screaming into the modern digitally distributed world. Originally rushed to be released in time for the lucrative Christmas sales of 2004, Obsidian were forced to cut out large swathes of content to meet the release date, leaving an abrupt and nonsensical cliff-hanger ending to the game. Thankfully, the gameâs code has been tinkered and toiled with by the loving modding community, who have created a huge content restoration mod to fill in all the missing gaps and fix a vast number of bugs.
The Sith Lords Restored Content Mod (TSLRCM)
The TSLRCM is a hugely substantial mod that helps the game meet the vision that Obsidian had originally planned for the game. Not only does the mod fix a whole host of bugs, including broken items, dialogue tree errors and combat glitches, it has pulled content out of the code and made entire areas of the game playable including unusued audio files and dialogue trees. The most recent build has also introduced compatibility with the long-awaited M4-78 Enhancement Project, aka Droid Planet.
To install TSLRCM:
1) Download and install the mod from the official ModDB entry, now at version 1.18.2.
2) Make sure to install the mod at the correct Steam location, where the default location is here: C:Program Files (x86)SteamsteamappscommonKnights of the Old Republic II (unlike other KOTOR2 mods which fit into the Overide folder).
3) Ensure that the Steam doesnât accidentally overwrite the mod by disabling updates to the game (Right click on KOTOR2 in the library > Properties > Updates tab > Do not automatically update this game).
4) Mod installation is confirmed if the main menu of the game shows The Sith Lords Restored Content Mod 1.8.1.
Widescreen resolution
KOTOR2 only supports a 4:3 resolution, but ingenious modders from the Widescreen Gaming Forum have come up with a fix which will help you to experience the game in modern 16:9 1920Ã1080 glory.
These instructions for getting the widescreen mod to work with the Steam version of the game have been tested on multiple hardware configurations:
1) Run the game, and set in-game resolution to 1280Ã960 (this allows a custom resolution to be selected externally).
2) Download the Squizzy Kotor2 Resolution Patcher. Note: the only use of this download is to extract the kotor2.exe file which is compatible with UniWS, as the exe provided by Steam is not.
3) Extract the kotor2.exe file into the KOTOR2 install directly, overwriting the original file (you might want to make a backup of the old one first, to be on the safe side).
4) Download UniWS, a widescreen patching program.
4) Run UniWS, select âStar Wars Knights of the Old Republic II The Sith Lordsâ.
Forza Horizon 2 PC Download is Ready! Full Version Forza Horizon 2 PC Download is a continuation of the Forza Motosport racing game series. As in the predecessor, the emphasis here is on a narrower approach to the subject. The version has also been converted to a PC platform and is on the same graphics engine that powered the first installment of the game. Forza Horizon 2 is an open-world dashing computer game created for Microsoftâs Xbox 360 and Xbox One consoles. It is the spin-off of 2012âs Forza Horizon and a piece of the Forza Motorsport arrangement. The Xbox One form of the diversion was produced by Playground Games, the group behind the first Forza Horizon, while Sumo Digital built up the variant for Xbox 360, with Forza Motorsport. Download âForza Horizon 2â Installer (Supports Resumable Downloads). Open the Installer, Click Next and choose the directory where to Install. Let it Download Full Version game in your specified directory. Open the Game and Enjoy Playing. If you feel any problem in running Forza Horizon 2, then feel free to comment down below. At this page of torrent you can download the game called 'Forza Horizon 2' adapted for Xbox 360.Game was developed by Microsoft Studios, published by Playground Games, Turn 10 Studios and Sumo Digital and released in 2014.If you like Racing games we recommend it for you. Forza horizon 2 utorrent pc.
5) Point it to your KOTOR2 install directory, select the desired resolution (e.g. Screen Width: 1920, Height: 1080) and click âPatchâ.
6) Edit the swkotor.ini in Notepad and edit the following lines:
[Display Options]
Width=1920 Height=1080
[Graphics Options]
Height=1080 Width=1920
Note that the resolution lines need to be changed in two places, and that the width/height entries are reversed in the second instance.
7) Because the game was never designed to run on a 16:9 resolution, forcing a widescreen resolution will cause problems with the minimap. Download updated 16:9 or 16:10 files.
8) Extract the mipc28x6_p.gui from the zip into the Override folder.
Notes
Save games
Save games are kept in this folder:
C:Program Files (x86)SteamsteamappscommonKnights of the Old Republic IISaves
Save game cloud syncing is highly recommended for this game. Itâs not supported natively, but can be hacked in using the brilliant program GameSave Manager, whose Sync & Link function will automatically detect savegames and then symlink them to your preferred cloud storage folder such as Dropbox.
Showstopping errors
The most common error with the game is âStar Wars: Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords has stopped workingâ. This can happen after the company logos display, or after clicking âLoad Gameâ from the main menu.
The simplest way to fix this is to run run the game in windowed mode. Open swkotor.ini in Notepad:
1) Under the heading [Graphics Options], add the line AllowWindowedMode=1
2) Edit the value FullScreen=0
Unfortunately, hacks to enable borderless fullscreen windowed are unplayable, as they will cause mouse cursor hotspot misalignment.
If running in windowed mode doesnât work, there are a whole host of other fixes that you can apply, including an Nvidia fix and an Intel integrated graphics fix.

I've come across a bug that I don't remember seeing when I played this game on my Xbox many years back.
After I destroy one the droids I can't move my character. The game doesn't accept my movement commands. Sometimes it takes awhile before it will accept movement commands again after combat. Other times it doesn't start accepting movements commands again period. Has anyone seen this glitch before? For the record I have TSLCRM and the new planet mod installed.

It may have something to do with V-Sync. Try to enable it via the graphics options & report back!
ps. If it is already enabled, try to disable it to see if this fixes your problem..

I had this issue near the start of the game - quicksave and quickload sorted it in the short term, and then it just stopped by itself.

Just came here to look for anything on this issue (as I've just started playing and also have it).
Will try the V-Sync thing.. [edit]: Yep it works for me as well :) Although sometimes if I am in Stealth mode when a battle starts (which then causes the automatic drop-Stealth when the fight starts) - then when the battle ends I am stuck. I have found that toggling Stealth On / Off gets me moving again. If I want to toggle Stealth back on after the battle ends, and I am 'stuck' (as noted previously), then I can't just turn Stealth On to get moving. I have to toggle On / Off / On to get Stealth back on AND be able to move. When I do not have V-Sync on, that sequence does not get me moving. So it seems that V-Sync On fixes the issue except sometimes when using Stealth mode, I ALSO need to do that toggling thing. But V-Sync On is needed for that Stealth toggling to work.

auroraparadox: I've come across a bug that I don't remember seeing when I played this game on my Xbox many years back. A better solution for this problem for me than enabling V-sync was simply limiting frame rates to 60fps through nvidia inspector or equivalent program. V-sync reduced the graphical quality of the game by enabling strange stuttering. However I do experience some tearing which is odd given I have a 144hz g-sync enabled monitor. Edit: This fixed the tearing for me while fixing the 'stuck' problem as well as maintaining 60 fps: 'So after monkeying around with NVIDIA inspector, I finally managed to correct the issue. After launching NVIDIA Inspector, I clicked on the settings icon (next to the driver information), and selected 'Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic 2' from the drop-down menu. From there, I went to the 'Sync and Refresh' section. Under there, I set the Vertical Sync Tear Control to 'Adaptive' (not strictly necessary to fix the problem). The last option that I altered was Vertical Sync - which I set to '1/2 Refresh Rate.' This is what fixed the problem. I now no longer have tearing, though I do feel some slowed frame rate. It's not enough to affect the gameplaying experience, and it's loads better than having a nasty tear all the way through the screen. Just wanted to post this up here in case anybody else ever ran into this problem.'
